There is a good chance that the green water is causing the color difference in the test. We recommend diluting the aquarium water with tap water to minimize the interference.

Use 2.5ml of aquarium water and 2.5ml of conditioned tap water (no iron). When the result is read from the color chart, multiply the result by two.
