Nutrafin Natural Plant System - CO2 Output Control
How do I control output in the CO2 Natural Plant System?
How do I control output in the CO2 Natural Plant System?
The only way to control the amount of CO2 entering the aquarium with our natural system is to move the diffuser/counter up or down the glass as well as inserting the injection nozzle at either one of the three locations provided, with the top location resulting in the least amount of contact time thus the least amount of dissolved CO2.
The aquarium size category mentioned was 20 to 30, so there is no danger of infusion of too much CO2. This is in addition to the fact that our system does not aggressively inject CO2. Even at night. The only possibility of excessive CO2 is if the aquarium was highly overcrowded with fish. In the case of high fish population, an air pump lightly bubbling in some air during the night should be more than adequate to drive off excess CO2.
