I have replaced the media in the Fluval just a week ago and the filter has stopped working. What is happening?
In most cases of this which we have seen, the filter has been charged with a polishing pad. These must be placed correctly and maintained properly for expected perforance. Sometimes, when using the A246 Water Polishing Pad or the A248 Fine Filter Pads, the filter becomes clogged quicker that expected. These pads must be used in only the top or middle basket. These pads clog very quickly. The A246 must be changed every 7-10 days or sooner. The A248 must be changed every 4 weeks or sooner.
