Elite Mini Filter

We just purchased a goldfish marina kit with the Elite Mini Filter. It is really blowing into the water, the goldfish are scared and can't seem to swim against the current t all. It seems the flow is causing them to turn upside down, etc.

Please press the (-) sign completely. The air bubbles will not flow anymore when it is at the lowest setting. However, it is not necessary for the fish, it is an aestetic feature for us. There is already enough aeration due to surface agitation created with the movement of water.

We can also receommend that you affix a piece of sponge onto the output of the filter, this can help lower the water movement created by the filter until your fish are big/strong enough to swim against the current.
